Why and how We use Cookies

Like most online services, We use cookies to keep WeSolve running smoothly. Cookies are very small text files that are stored on Your computer when You visit some websites. We use cookies to help identify Your computer so We can tailor Your experience and remember where You are in the process. We use cookies both in Our web app (e.g. https:/www.wesolve.app and all other subdomains) and Our main website (https://wesolve.app and its pages). A cookie does not contain Your name or other personal information but We may use the information gained through cookies with personally identifiable information to gain a better understanding of the use of Our Service.

How Cookies Work

Some cookies stay in Your browser for a longer period of time, others are deleted the moment You close Your browser.   • AuthToken, token used for authentication
  • TenantId, used to identify the organisation

Third-Party Cookies and Web Beacons

The third-party services We use have been carefully selected. They are necessary to bring You the best possible experience and to continuously improve Our product and Service.

As Our core business is about You, the Customer, at times these Services are used to store or transfer Customer Data between WeSolve employees – for example when a support request has to be communicated to a developer. We limit the amount of Customer Data contained in such communication to the minimum required and the use of information is limited to that specific purpose.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to keep an overview of what kind of people are interested in Our services or keep track of visits in the web pages in the platform. 

Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of Our Web application and websites (including your IP address).

We draw your attention to the fact that Google Analytics is supplemented by the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” on Our Web application and websites to guarantee the anonymised collection of IP addresses (so-called IP-masking).

In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of the website provider Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating Your use of Our Web application and websites, compiling reports on website activity for Our Service and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to Us. Google will not associate Your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. You can prevent Google’s collection and use of data (cookies and IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB.

Sendgrid

We use Sendgrid as a reliable provider for sending emails. Sendgrid does not use traditional cookies but it does use tracking pixels (“Web beacons”) that give Us an indication of if and when emails are opened.
