Anti-Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

This statement is made on behalf of WeSolve and its subsidiaries (collectively, “WeSolve”) in compliance with Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It outlines our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our business operations and supply chains.

Who We Are and How We Operate

WeSolve is a Civic-Tech company dedicated to developing multi-stakeholder digital community engagement solutions that enhance transparency, participation, and collaboration between local governments and communities. Our solutions are designed to empower citizens and decision-makers, fostering an inclusive, fair, and ethical environment.

We are committed to conducting our business with integrity and ensuring the highest ethical standards not only in our own operations but also among our suppliers and partners. WeSolve has a zero-tolerance policy towards forced or compulsory labor, human trafficking, or slavery within its business or supply chain.

Our Supply Chain

As a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) provider, WeSolve has a relatively small and specialized supply chain since our core business relies on technology, innovation, and intellectual property rather than large-scale manufacturing or production. We work with suppliers for services such as:

  • Cloud computing and IT infrastructure
  • Software development and cybersecurity
  • Marketing, consulting, and professional services

Our suppliers and partners are carefully selected based on their commitment to ethical business practices, legal compliance, and human rights protections.

Our Policies and Commitment

To ensure compliance with ethical labor standards, WeSolve has implemented the following policies:

  • Supplier Code of Conduct: We expect all suppliers and partners to adhere to fair labor practices and comply with international human rights laws. Our Supplier Code of Conduct outlines our policy against modern slavery and human trafficking and provides clear expectations regarding workplace rights, conditions, and compliance monitoring.
  • Compliance & Reporting Policy: Employees, customers, and stakeholders are encouraged to report any concerns related to labor exploitation or unethical practices through our confidential compliance reporting channels.
  • Employee Code of Ethics: We require all employees, contractors, and partners to conduct business with integrity, respect, and transparency, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and ethical guidelines.

Risk Assessment and Due Diligence

WeSolve evaluates suppliers based on the risk level associated with their services, industry, and geographic location.

  • Low-risk suppliers (e.g., technology providers in highly regulated environments) are subject to standard contractual agreements that include ethical and compliance clauses.
  • High-risk suppliers (e.g., service providers in industries with documented labor risks) are required to provide evidence of ethical labor practices, compliance with modern slavery laws, and a commitment to responsible business conduct.

If any supplier fails to meet our ethical standards, WeSolve will engage with them to address the issue or, if necessary, terminate the business relationship.

Training and Awareness

WeSolve provides training and awareness programs for employees to recognize and prevent risks associated with modern slavery and human trafficking. This ensures that our workforce remains vigilant and proactive in identifying and addressing potential human rights violations.

Reporting and Accountability

The prevention, detection, and reporting of modern slavery is the shared responsibility of all individuals working for or associated with WeSolve. If any suspicious activity related to modern slavery is identified, it must be reported immediately through our internal compliance channels or external authorities, as appropriate.

Board Approval

This statement has been reviewed and approved by WeSolve’s Executive Leadership Team and will be updated annually to reflect our continued commitment to ethical labor practices and human rights protection.
